Unlike some really popular musical superstars, Christina hasn’t really made the transition into multimedia star, preferring to concentrate on her music. Well, she is known for her four-octave vocal range and powerful lungs, so kudos to her for sticking to her strengths. She did break into the business on a TV talent show, and she did join “The New Mickey Mouse Club” along with other future celebrities though. And aside from numerous appearances on TV as herself in talk shows, televised concerts and awards shows, Christina has guested several times on “Saturday Night Live”, even participating in a sketch at one time. Her only performance in a movie, aside from her participation in soundtracks was voicing an animated character for “Shark Tale”. Her latest screen work was in “Shine A Light”, a documentary directed by Martin Scorcese covering The Rolling Stones’ last tour, where she performed with Mick Jagger and the guys.
